Stann Creek District

The Stann Creek District is the smallest district, yet it has a good diversity of habitats and species. It borders the Belize district to the north, Cayo to the west, Toledo to the south and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Significant tracts of Broadleaf forest remain to the west of this district while the low east end contains large wetlands and a long coastline of good diversity.
